Ethelyn is one crazy kid. If you think I study non-stop (which isn't really true actually), then you've seen nothing. Today is like the final straw to her label as her true blue nerd. We were studying from 9 to 7 and if the R&B uncle hadn't chased us out, we would have stayed till 8. Ok. So. Ethelyn was like study study study non-stop throughout the 10 hours la. And it's crazy, I tell you. Ok. So we did talk abit. For at most 5 mins every once in a while. Actually me and Jean were talking the most. :p I asked her to go online and send me some songs tonight. And she was like don't want to coz she said it's Friday already and prelims is so near now. Yeah true. But it's holiday and we've studied for SO long. Can't we relax for less than an hour? My tian. Is she human? For 1, she doesn't get tempted by the computer and bed at home and 2, study and study non-stop unless some R&B uncle stop her.
Yeah so. That basically sums up my day. Boring eh? That's how my life is now. Which amounts to nothing. Zilch. Zero. Blank. Kor-song. Ling. 0.
But funny how I STILL don't feel the stress yet. Or rather the sense of urgency that the prelims are here. Which is really important because come to think of it, it determines the first 3 months of Year 2006 of your life. Which is once in a lifetime. Haha.. Crap. Aiyah. Shucks. My brain is going haywire. Like lack of oxygen coz I feel stifled and not able to breathe properly. I'm going to grow fat la. 10 hours. Lunch time sit there. Dinner time sit there. The only time when I can stretch my legs and walk is during my trip to the toilet. I feel my bones are getting rusty and my joints going rickety. I'm getting old way before my time. This is so depressing.
Oh yeah. Over the past few days, the same group of AHS people were there too. Except that it's growing bigger and bigger with more people joining in the study group. I recognized Rachelle coz she was there everyday. My schoolmate except that I don't really know her and don't talk to her one. :P Anyway, I THINK they recognize me leh. Coz of the student camp at AHS during June. I reported for camp during dinnertime in my school uniform and err.. guess it attracted a bit of attention. :P But my point is, I think they are really united la. Such a big group studying together and well yeah, they did talk abit. And I think it's a pretty well mixed group coz there's guys and girls studying together and it does seem kind of.. fun. I wonder if that's how its gonna be next year after we leave Cedar and to respective co-ed schools. It's been a 4 years since I last went to a co-ed school and I kind of lost the feeling already. My sister was telling me that if I ever wanted to be a teacher, I should go teach in a co-ed school coz it's more fun. If in a boys' school, there'll be havoc whereas in a girls' school, the girls will bear grudges if you ever scold them. Sounds familiar? Haha.. Yeah. But on the whole, I think AHS is a pretty united school. What with the annual student camp which isn't compulsary but still so many people signed up for, I think their bond is good and genuine. Coz I've been there and experienced it before.
